Sir Quett Ketumile Joni Masire,[1] GCMG (23 Julie 1925 – 22 Junie 2017) was die tweede President van Botswana, in amp vanaf 1980 tot 1998.[2][3] Hy was 'n leidende figuur in die onafhanklikheidsbeweging en die aansluitende nuwe regering en het 'n belangrike rol in die fasilitering en beskerming van Botswana se bestendige finansiële groei en ontwikkeling gespeel. Hy het in 1998 afgedank en is opgevolg deur Adjunkpresident Festus Mogae, wat dit derde President van Botswana geword het.[3]
